Chezh is a Slavic language somewhat similar to Russian. The alphabet is mostly Latin but be prepared to see some weird letters as well. People in Prague are famously well versed in a variety of other languages. You waiter will most likely be able to converse in English, German and Russian. In any case, you should have no problem communicating in Prague.
