Prague is historically a very musical city. Czech composers Dvoark and Smetana made a significant contribution to the world’s music heritage. Mozart debuted his 'Don Giovanni' at the Estates theatre in the city after putting the final touches to it the night before. The Prague Spring Music Festival is still one of the world's foremost classical events. Opera and Theatre are also alive and well in the Czech capital and many of the bigger theatrical performances are simultaneously translated into English via headsets.
